Beckman Coulter, Inc. (Brea, CA, USA) will highlight its latest medical advancements in laboratory solutions at the 2022 AACC Clinical Lab Expo that streamline workflows, enhance productivity and bring automation to labs of all sizes. The company will also give live presentation on sepsis diagnosis and management highlighting the use of standardized laboratory and clinical operations in the context of a patient’s journey from initial assessment in the Emergency Department through treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to eventual discharge.

At AACC 2022, Beckman Coulter is providing a booth tour to allow visitors to experience the total solution in the laboratory and an innovation tour to experience the future in healthcare. The company will be demonstrating the new DxA 5000 Fit Workflow Automation System, an automation solution that fundamentally improves lab workflow by making intelligent automation accessible to fit small- and mid-sized lab needs. The DxA 5000 Fit drives speed and accuracy, all while maintaining a small footprint. It eliminates up to 80% of the manual steps associated with processing a patient sample, allowing users to focus on patient care.

Among its portfolio of clinical informatics solutions, Beckman Coulter is demonstrating the DxONE Information Management Solutions. This includes the DxONE Inventory Manager, an automated, end-to-end software application that increases operational efficiency by automatically recording, tracking and optimizing a laboratory’s consumables; the new DxONE Workflow Manager which is the industry’s first cloud-based middleware solution that allows users to amplify productivity and future-proof their lab; the DxONE Command Central that allows labs to establish a centralized point of control connecting up to 18 instruments or automation systems across the network; and the DxONE Insights, a cloud-based software solution that provides actionable insights and lab data analytics to streamline operations, allowing labs to identify patterns and reduce inefficiencies.

Beckman Coulter is also demonstrating its range of scalable clinical chemistry analyzers that can help optimize a lab’s uptime, reliability and performance, including the AU480 chemistry analyzer which is the ideal primary clinical chemistry analyzer for low- to mid-volume hospitals and laboratories, or dedicated specialty chemistry or STAT analyzer for larger laboratories; the DxC 700 AU clinical chemistry analyzer for mid- to high-volume laboratories that combines the features of the DxC and AU series of clinical chemistry analyzers; and the AU5800 series clinical chemistry analyzers that are the fastest in the industry, processing up to 2,000 tests per hour with a full menu of assays.

Among its hematology solutions, Beckman Coulter is presenting the DxH 900 hematology analyzer that enables high-volume laboratories to achieve superb RBC, PLT and WBC differentials through near native-state cellular characterization; the DxH 690T 5-part differential CBC analyzer that delivers rapid patient results, while enabling technologists to simplify processes and reduce manual tasks; and the new DxH 560 AL hematology analyzer that helps save time and resources, eliminate manual intervention and deliver high-quality results, even for difficult-draw patient groups.
