Roche (Basel, Switzerland) showcased leading-edge technology at its virtual booth at 2020 AACC Annual Scientific Meeting with demonstrations of the company’s newest additions to the cobas family of analyzers.

At the AACC Virtual 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo, Roche demonstrated its new cobas pro integrated solution that allows laboratories to experience a new improved level of simplicity while achieving mid to high volume clinical chemistry and immunochemistry testing needs. Visitors to Roche’s virtual booth at AACC 2020 were able to see firsthand the newest innovations, including reduced maintenance, cobas AutoCal, and long on-board reagent stability. The cobas pro integrated solution includes the cobas ISE analytical unit that measures the concentration of sodium (Na+), potassium (K+) and chloride (Cl-), the all-new cobas c 503 analytical unit for clinical chemistry, and cobas e 801 analytical unit for immunochemistry. The state-of-the-art cobas pro offers a range of advanced features that help optimize workflow, improve productivity, and enhance reliability and turnaround times to support patient care.

Roche also gave viewers a peek behind the curtain to the innovations offered by cobas pure integrated solutions, the newest member of the cobas family of systems that is designed to deliver excellence, while at the same time simplifying daily work. Built on the latest technology, cobas pure integrated solutions combines clinical chemistry, immunoassay and ISE1 diagnostic testing on a footprint of just two square meters to achieve low to mid volume testing needs.
