A liquid human whole blood-based third-party control monitors the precision of hemoglobin A1C tests on commonly used methods and instruments.

Known as the Liquichek Diabetes Control, it provides an unbiased assessment, helping to detect changes in assay performance and improving the quality of test results. Liquichek Diabetes Control is available in three levels with a 1 ml fill size. The Unity Interlaboratory Program, with peer group comparison, is available for use with Liquichek Diabetes Control, as well as Unity Real Time, a complete quality control (QC) data management software system designed to improve the effectiveness of quality control processes.

The Liquichek Diabetes Control is a newly available product from the Bio-Rad (Hercules, CA, USA) diabetes range of products. Bio-Rad Laboratories manufactures and distributes a broad range of products for the clinical diagnostic and life science research sectors. The company supplies hospitals, universities, major research institutions, as well as biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies worldwide.
