A pioneering eco-friendly product line of unique, high quality immunoassay reagents that contains no toxic biological or chemical hazards are being exhibited at the 2015 AACC Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo (July 26–30; Atlanta, GA, USA), in Booth 4017.

ECO-TEK, the only commercially available line of environmentally safe immunoassay reagents, will be featured at AACC by Kem-En-Tec Diagnostics A/S (Taastrup, Denmark) and its US distributor, Rainbow Scientific, Inc. (Windsor, CT, USA). Kem-En-Tec Diagnostics, a pioneer of safe and environmentally friendly immunoassay reagents that maintain high standards in quality, sensitivity, and shelf-life, develops ECO-TEK products to eliminate biological and chemical hazards such as BSA, sodium azide, and harmful organic solvents still commonly found in diagnostic assay components.

ECO-TEK reagents reduce the environmental impact of ELISA, blotting, or IHC applications without compromising reliability or stability. Additionally, Kem-En-Tec’s innovative WellChampion Blocking & Protection Buffer eliminates 2 to 3 steps in ELISA plate production, significantly reducing water waste.

Kem-En-Tec Diagnostics technical experts Henrik Christiansen, president & CEO, and Henny Nielsen, Sales & Marketing manager, will be present at the booth, providing visitors a firsthand opportunity to learn about the benefits of ECO-TEK reagents, especially for ELISA kit development. Visitors will also have an opportunity to arrange for free product samples.

“The latest developments from our R&D team provide enhancements in the dynamic range of TMB substrates and phycoerythrin (PE) labeled conjugates,” said Mr. Christensen, “The AACC offers us a unique chance to communicate our ability to meet the requirements of the immunoassay market to our customers and partners.”

“ECO-TEK products reduce environmental pollution from laboratory reagents, including elimination of mercury-containing waste,” said Peter Mousseau, president of Rainbow Scientific, “Visitors to our AACC booth will have the opportunity to speak to technical experts from Kem-En-Tec to learn about eco-friendly solutions for their labs.”

Kem-En-Tec Diagnostic products are registered and listed with the FDA as Device Class 1: General Purpose Reagents.
