The certification of its cell culture and hematology and histology products with the CE Mark has been announced by Sigma-Aldrich Corp. (St. Louis, MO, USA).

The CE Mark indicates that a product complies with European Union safety, environmental, and quality standards. Sigma-Aldrich has satisfactorily completed the testing and registration required to obtain CE Marking for about 400 of its products in the cell culture, hematology, and histology product lines. Sigma-Aldrich produces biochemical and organic chemical products and kits used in the diagnosis of disease, scientific and genomic research, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical development. The company operates in 34 countries worldwide.

"Sigma-Aldrich's commitment to quality and safety are second to none,” said Marilyn Baltz, Ph.D., regulatory site manager at Sigma-Aldrich. "Obtaining the CE Mark confirms the excellence of our products and secures our presence in the European Union marketplace.”
